Watching rain pour from the sky
Disturbing memories come to mind
Waiting for Death to come my way
I waste away these days of rain
Prowling through the trees
Ethereal images describe these words
Becoming one with the horizon
Slowly drifting into unconsciousness
The point of no return
My dreams devoured
Flames crawling through the skin
It all came to its end
Transcended to a mere reflection
Of what never could have been
Desolation feeds the fear
Emptiness, nothingness
Does it have to end this way?
It was somehow meant to be
This time I look at the horizon
The first morning light sneaks through the curtain
A shadow cast upon the wall
The golden rays draw a lonely silhouette
Standing still, lifeless it remains
